HERE’S WHAT A DAY IN TREATMENT COULD LIKE

Start the day with a healthy, freshly prepared breakfast. Then you’ll set your intentions for the day with self-reflection, before attending a psychoeducational lecture about distress tolerance. Afterwards, you’ll get moving with a workout in our fitness centre, relax with a hot yoga class, or even attend a boot camp session.

After a delicious lunch, learn how the mind-body connection affects trauma recovery. Then, attend a one-on-one or a group therapy session to learn how to cope with triggers.

In the evening, participate in a specialized, trauma-focused peer support group centered on symptoms management, emotional regulation, or returning to work. After meditating, enjoy dinner with fellow clients and an evening walk.

Continuing support for ongoing success

Support from EHN Guardians does not end once you step out the door. We believe that ongoing recovery requires ongoing care. That’s why one year of Aftercare, an important part of relapse prevention and monitoring, is included for all eligible alumni.

To further strengthen your commitment to continued recovery, we also offer access to our app-based support. This tool enables you to set personalized goals, track your progress, and stay mindful of potential triggers, ensuring you remain proactive in your recovery journey.

The Aftercare Program also aims at helping you identify risks of relapse and obtaining the guidance and recommendations you may need for early intervention if required.
