STREAMLINED REFERRAL PROCESS
We recognize the importance of a smooth, efficient referral process and are dedicated to working closely with you. From the moment of referral to the completion of treatment, our team ensures every step is handled promptly, professionally, and with the utmost care. We provide clear guidelines and personalized support, making the process as seamless and straightforward as possible.

How does the referral process work?
Initial Contact
You provide the member’s contact information and supporting documentation. This step initiates the referral and ensures we have the necessary information to begin the process.
Assessment
EHN conducts a comprehensive initial assessment of the member’s needs. If required, we place a tentative hold on the waitlist, ensuring their spot is secured as we move forward.
Approval and Confirmation
After an internal review of the file, we confirm the treatment plan and key dates with all parties involved. This ensures that everyone is aligned on the next steps in the member’s recovery journey.
Financial Authorization
We help members understand their funding eligibility. Whether Medavie Blue Cross, their worker’s compensation board, union or other funder source, we’ll assist in helping the member find their way.
Admission Preparation
In this final stage, we finalize all preparations for the member’s admission, ensuring that all documentation and approvals are in place. This ensures a smooth transition into care.
