Mental Health, Trauma and Addiction Programs
Exclusively for Emergency Medical Services
EHN Guardians is proud to provide specialized support tailored to help emergency medical service (EMS) professionals begin their journey toward recovery from mental health challenges, trauma, and addiction.
Canada has been facing a healthcare crisis marked by overcrowded facilities, limited 24/7 crisis response in rural areas, and rising substance use concerns. This has led to a mentally and physically exhausting environment for emergency service workers, increasing rates of burnout, anxiety, and PTSD.
EHN Canada understands the unique pressures on emergency personnel and offers specialized support tailored to their needs. Our programs provide evidence-based therapies in a confidential, supportive setting, helping first responders build resilience and manage work-related stress.
With personalized treatment plans and a team of experienced clinicians, EHN Canada empowers emergency workers to strengthen their mental wellness and continue their essential work with renewed resilience.
PROTECTING THE MINDS BEHIND THE MISSION
Being an emergency medical service worker comes with many of its own stressors unique to their role. High workloads, low numbers of staff members and regular exposure to traumatic events and fatalities can lead to anxiety, moral injury and other mental health disorders.
EHN Canada understands that emergency service workers are taught to be tough in the face of unimaginable hardships, and we’re here to help.
