Mental Health, Trauma and Addiction Programs
Exclusively for Military
EHN Guardians can help active Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members begin their recovery from mental health disorders, trauma, and addiction.
Serving in the Canadian Armed Forces comes with a great sense of pride and honour, but it can also come with rigorous training, isolation, combat exposure, and separation from families. As a result, service members often experience mental health disorders and addiction at rates higher than that of the civilian population.
At EHN Guardians, our facilities and programs were created to address the complex needs of military service members. We provide evidence-based treatment programs for trauma, PTSD, addiction, and other mental health disorders commonly faced by CAF personnel. The EHN Guardians team, including doctors, nurses, and clinicians, is trained to understand military culture and the specific stressors associated with service.
We also create dedicated therapeutic communities with like-minded people who can understand the trauma and mental stress that comes with military service. Creating a sense of belonging and shared experiences, the EHN Guardians members are able to feel heard and supported by their peers in treatment.
