PROGRAMS AT EHN GUARDIANS ATLANTIC

Every inpatient program at EHN Guardians Atlantic is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of military members, veterans, and first responders. Upon admission, each patient completes a physician assessment to support the creation of a personalized treatment plan. We integrate evidence-based treatments with the strength of our compassionate patient community, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and recovery.

Trauma and Psychological Injury Treatment Program

The Trauma and Psychological Injury Program is built for individuals coping with the lasting effects of traumatic experiences, including operational stress injuries, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress. Through evidence-based therapies and a supportive treatment environment, participants are guided by a multidisciplinary team to process trauma and develop tools for long-term recovery. Treatment approaches and group compositions may vary by facility.

Family Education

Whether a family or a loved one is affected by addiction, trauma, or mental illness, every member deserves support. That’s why we offer a workshop specifically designed to equip families and loved ones with tools for their own healing journey. Delivered by our team at EHN Edgewood Nanaimo facility, this workshop helps family members gain the knowledge and skills to better support their loved ones' recovery while also focusing on their own well-being. While clinicians won’t address specific personal details about those in treatment, each session will include time for questions and discussion at the end.
