EHN Bellwood Toronto is a mental health and addiction treatment centre that is distinguished by over four decades of expertise and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. In 1946, Dr. Gordon Bell pioneered a first-of-its-kind treatment in Canada: a space for soldiers returning from World War II who were experiencing PTSD and alcoholism. His groundbreaking work was the genesis of what today has become EHN Guardians.

EHN Bellwood Toronto may not exclusively serve military personnel, veterans, and first responders, but we take pride in offering specialized care for these groups. Our team includes highly experienced clinicians who understand the unique needs of this community. EHN Bellwood Toronto provides an evidence-based treatment program in Toronto, Ontario, designed to address both substance addiction and mental health disorders simultaneously. Family Education

Whether a family or a loved one is affected by addiction, trauma, or mental illness, every member deserves support. That’s why we offer a workshop specifically designed to equip families and loved ones with tools for their own healing journey. Delivered by our team at EHN Edgewood Nanaimo facility, this workshop helps family members gain the knowledge and skills to better support their loved ones' recovery while also focusing on their own well-being. While clinicians won’t address specific personal details about those in treatment, each session will include time for questions and discussion at the end.
