Lorsque vous terminez le traitement, l’une des choses les plus importantes que vous puissiez faire pour profiter d’un rétablissement durable est de rester connecté avec vos anciens camarades. C’est là qu’intervient la communauté des alumni d’EHN Gardiens. Nous sommes fiers d’offrir un soutien continu, des soins et un peu de divertissement à nos anciens et à leurs familles.

La communauté des alumni d'EHN Gardiens

Chez EHN Gardiens, nous croyons que chacun mérite une vie de rétablissement durable. Ainsi, que vous soyez un ancien de l’un de nos établissements en internat, que vous ayez participé à un programme familial ou que vous ayez terminé notre programme virtuel, nous souhaitons établir une relation avec vous pour la vie. Voici comment nous pouvons vous aider :

Suivi post-traitement
vous aide à maintenir des bilans réguliers avec votre clinicien, à poursuivre les séances de groupe et à développer vos compétences.

Engagement des alumni
vous permet de créer une base de soutien et de communauté dans des lieux à travers le Canada. Et nous avons une communauté virtuelle de personnes à travers le pays qui se rencontrent régulièrement pour se soutenir mutuellement.

Darren Kristianson

I recently completed a 6-month stay at this treatment center for help with opiate and methamphetamine addiction. The program follows a community-as-method approach, where you live and work together in a large complex with dorms, a lunch hall, and even a small store. It creates a structured, supportive environment that really helped me build better habits and develop a strong routine.Most of the counselors and staff were incredibly supportive and truly helped change my life. I learned a lot about myself and built real connections with people who were going through the same things. I'm proud to say I’ve left the center and am continuing to pursue my goals.That said, not everything was perfect. Near the end of my stay, I had issues with my last counselor, which made the environment uncomfortable and was ultimately one of the reasons I left a bit sooner than planned. I would like it if the head contact on your team That I could get in contact with.I also had a couple frustrating experiences with the medical team, especially around access to a medication prescribed to me by a specialist team in Calgary.Despite those challenges, the overall experience was powerful and life-changing. I’m grateful for the growth I experienced there and for most of the people who helped me along the way. I love everyone I met the way in my journey and I am forever grateful to them.

I went to the recovery ranch when I was 19 years old from October 3rd to mid November of 2022. I just graduated high school my counsellor Emily was hands down the greatest counsellor I have ever had in my entire life, her way of counselling honesty changed my perspective on how counsellors work and actually care for there clients and aren’t just money grabs like I felt in the past, she asked me questions that were perfect and that brought me out of my comfort zone and that ultimately gave me comfort and success later on in life. I was infatuated with very destructive life styles money and narcotics, there we’re so many cool people who I still talk to till this day that I met there, The head PF Donna sat with me for at least 2 hours when she had the time to talk about Christ with me and ultimately revived my faith in Christ, I got so many impactful talks there that shaped me into the man I am now, the staff there are such lovely friendly kind people there who will sit with you and let you tell them what’s going on with you and comfort you. It’s been nearly 3 years and I am two years clean and sober don’t I don’t think about picking up at all and through the help that the recovery ranch provided for me, and AA and NA and god and my sponsor have kept me sober I am 21 now and I am happier then ever I was able to put past trauma in the past from the tools that the recovery ranch provided. Yes I would 100% recommend the recovery ranch

My experience was once in an life time. I learned tools to help me in everyday life. I love the staff/councilors. I've grown to love myself and not carry any baggage anymore. I'm whole different change person. I'm still going strong in my recovery and love every minute of it. Thank you EHN Edgewood Rockies for everything.

I owe a lot to this place. Walking through those doors was, without a doubt, one of the best things I've ever done for myself.My time here was transformative. It wasn't just about the program it was the whole atmosphere. The food was fantastic, genuinely good quality meals I actually looked forward to. One thing I liked about this place is that people heal at their own pace so the length of your stay can change if you’d like. For instance, I completed the program in just under 4 months, but there were many people that stayed an entire year.What makes this place special is the people. You're surrounded by others who understand your struggles, and the bonds you form are incredible. I met some truly amazing people that I’m pretty confident we'll be friends for a really long time. The support staff are incredible and 99.9% of them are very personable and always willing to listen. It’s also nice that getting a leadership role means getting your own room (all other rooms are two person occupancy).Even after leaving, you still feel connected. The alumni program is wonderful being able to just pop in any day and the monthly Cake Night celebrating recovery milestones with families is another big bonus.To me, it's a 5 star place, but no place is completely perfect. More counsellors would help for providing extra individual support, as the team seems stretched thin sometimes. The wait times can also be tough, I was really lucky with a wait of just a week and a half, but waits over four months are not unheard of. Also, just a note, if you're paying out-of-pocket and not eligible for financial support, the pharmacy might be more expensive than you'd find elsewhere.These are minor points, honestly. My overall experience was very positive. I feel ready for the future because of the dedicated people and the supportive community I found here. Highly, highly recommended.

My time at EHN Bellwood Toronto was so worth it! The staff was so helpful and caring. The meals 3 times a day , plus snacks were good. During my stayI learned ways to cope with my OCD and with excellent support was able to challenge and change some of my behaviors. Family involvement through virtual sessions was also beneficial. I have benefited from this place , because I came back to living with a scheduled routine and doing things to keep my mental health good. I also have made friends that help me in the ongoing fight.I really recommend this place .

Nous ouvrons de nouveaux chapitres dans des villes à travers le pays, alors restez à l’écoute pour les mises à jour. Qui est autorisé à assister aux événements de la communauté des alumni d'EHN Gardiens ?

Nous sommes ouverts à tous les anciens qui ont suivi un traitement et qui sont militaires, vétérans ou premiers intervenants. Vous n’avez pas besoin d’avoir suivi un traitement dans un lieu spécifique pour rejoindre ce chapitre ou le groupe virtuel.
Suis-je éligible au suivi post-traitement ?

L’éligibilité au suivi post-traitement dépendra de l’achèvement de votre programme. Veuillez nous contacter pour déterminer votre éligibilité.
Qu'est-ce qu'un programme de remise à niveau ?

Si vous êtes en rétablissement mais que vous avez l’impression de devoir vous rafraîchir un peu, ce programme est fait pour vous. Il peut vous aider à revoir vos compétences.
Quels types d'événements existe-t-il où je peux me connecter avec d'autres anciens ?

Les événements vont de l’inspirant à l’informatif, en passant par le divertissant, ou une combinaison des trois. Nous organisons des barbecues, des journées de golf, des séries de conférenciers, des soirées de gâteaux, des fêtes d’anniversaire, et plus encore.
