Programs at EHN Guardians Rockies

EHN Guardians Rockies provides evidence-based treatment for military, veterans, and first responders struggling with addiction, and their loved ones. Upon admission, each client undergoes a physician assessment to ensure the development of a personalized care plan. Our team of compassionate, experienced doctors, nurses, and counsellors provide the tools needed to recover.

EHN Guardians Addiction Program

This integrated program supports individuals facing both mental health challenges—such as anxiety, depression, or trauma—and substance use issues. By addressing both concurrently, the program helps participants build insight, coping strategies, and stability. It also includes withdrawal management services, as well as aftercare planning to support long-term recovery and relapse prevention. Each facility tailors its approach based on clinical best practices, available therapies, and the needs of the participant group.

Family Education

Whether a family or a loved one is affected by addiction, trauma, or mental illness, every member deserves support. That’s why we offer a workshop specifically designed to equip families and loved ones with tools for their own healing journey. Delivered by our team at EHN Edgewood Nanaimo facility, this workshop helps family members gain the knowledge and skills to better support their loved ones' recovery while also focusing on their own well-being. While clinicians won’t address specific personal details about those in treatment, each session will include time for questions and discussion at the end.
